Pink is a recording artist who isnt afraid to speak her mind and we can tell by her music. She continues to create quite a stir with her latest single "stupid girls."
In the traditional rock pop style of pink this song has many rock n roll sounds incorporated with a pop style. In this song as in many of pinks songs we can appreciate the electric guitar among other computer generated instruments.
Stupid Girls talks about women in the media who make headlines for the "stupid" things they do. This song mocks the fact that girls who make the most change in the world dont get as much publicity and the girls who tend to drink,party and be crazy seem to be top headline. This song is especially noting the fact that young girls are making role models of these stars who feel that being thin and beautiful is the way to go.
